Jorga Bear (Version I)
The mountain's fierce beast, the bear, once took its cub down to the foothills. At the foothills, there was a river flowing with white, foamy waves. While the bear's cub was curiously looking at the river's current from the cliff, it fell in. The rushing mountain water, not even noticing the struggling cub, swept it away.
The bear, unable to bear the sight of its cub being mixed with the white foam, struggling to stay afloat, desperately tried to save it. With no means to rescue, it ran along the shore, not taking its eyes off its cub, which was barely visible in the water. Its belly was scratched by branches, and its paws were cut by stones. But the maternal instinct for its cub kept it running without faltering.
A musician who witnessed this incident composed a melody on the dombra and the sybyzgy.
This is said to be the bear's frantic and clumsy running during that moment.
