Healthy goose
The legend of this melody continues from the legend of the "Lame Goose," and the melody itself is played continuously.
...Thus, wounded by the arrow of the gray hunter, the mother goose is unable to fly away with her flock to warmer lands and is left alone, lamenting on a deserted island. Having lost her chicks, and no longer seeing her companion, the father goose, she pours out her sorrow. She gazes longingly at the line of geese arranged in formation, like beads on a string. She spreads her wings and attempts to fly. But she falls to the ground with her chicks and cries out in despair.
At that moment, the voice of the father goose is heard from behind. The father goose, having joined the flock of thick birds with her chicks, has returned, unwilling to part with her companion. The mother goose's heart melts, and she emits a sound as if she is weeping softly. She stretches her neck towards the father goose and rests her chin on his shoulder.
The father goose, supporting her with his chest and fanning her with his wings, tries to lead her along. Alas, the lame goose has no strength left. She beats the ground with her wings and mournfully cries out.
The father goose, exhausted, is also forced to sigh and say goodbye. Having lost her lifelong partner, she continues to lament as she drifts away...
The musician has captured this scene on the dombra, expressing the emotional state and fate of the two geese through the strings.
