Жаугершілік заманында бір ақсақал адам торғауыттардың қолына түседі. Торғауыттар оны ауылына әкеліп, аяқ-қолына кісен салып тастайды. Сол кезде ауылға бір сыбызғышы келеді. In the time of wars, an old man falls into the hands of the Torgouts. The Torgouts bring him to their village and put shackles on his arms and legs. At that moment, a flute player arrives in the village. The villagers gather and listen to the flute. When the flute player plays the "Kuy Sandyk" tune, the captive old man says, "I would dance to this tune." They remove the shackles and let the old man dance. The old man is a skilled dancer. Impressed by his performance, the Torgouts grant him freedom and gift him a golden coat. The "Kuy Sandyk" is the dance tune of the Torgouts.
