Maidazhal
Even if Qazangap had thousands of horses, among so many horses, there were no swift or agile ones. "A horse does not run; it is the care that makes it run. There is no long-necked racer or a path-making agile horse. A person who has no understanding of what he has and no skill with livestock," the elders say about Qazangap. Deeply troubled by what the elders said, and dreaming of an unmatched agile horse and racer, Qazangap would often worry. One day, while he was pondering, he thought, "The people criticize me for not knowing livestock. I will bring those who know livestock to choose; among the thick herd of horses, one or another will surely be found." So he gathered those who he thought could identify horses and showed them his horses one by one. However, no matter how many people he showed, neither an agile horse nor a racer appeared. Feeling that perhaps he was not destined to have an agile horse or racer, one day he was sitting in despair when a young man in a long coat came to the village. The young man, who had eaten a hearty meal at the rich man's house, did not mention what business he had come for or where he was from, as the rich man did not ask him directly. When he went outside, he followed the rich man to the horse tethering area. The young man, staring intently at the mother mare, the stallions, and the foals in the tether, suddenly separated from the rich man, went to the middle of the tether where a yellow foal was tied, looked at it from both sides, and then returned to the rich man. The rich man, surprised by the young man's actions, asked why he was looking at the foal. The young man replied, "It is a creature that will be an agile horse." The rich man became delighted and took the young man to his home, honored him by slaughtering a sheep, and asked about the signs that indicated the foal would become an agile horse and how to care for it. The young man patiently explained everything. From that day on, the rich man began to nurture the yellow foal according to the young man's advice. When the yellow foal became a colt, its soft mane swept the ground, and from its weaning until its death, it became an agile horse that never let dust settle on its path. Qazangap named his agile horse "Maydazhal." The musician, amazed by Maydazhal's agility, praised it and composed this tune.
