Қорқыт (ІI нұсқа)

Korkyt (Version II)
It is revealed that Korkyt will only live for forty years. After this, he escapes death by flying away on his Wind Horse. However, even though he runs away, Janalghy overtakes him and digs up Korkyt's grave wherever he goes. But for a long time, Janalghy cannot bring himself to take Korkyt's soul and just wanders around aimlessly.
Finally, one day, Janalghy decides to take Korkyt's soul by forging a chest out of gold. Having foreseen this in advance, Korkyt thinks of a way to avoid the clutches of death.
One day, Janalghy finally confronts Korkyt face to face and commands, "Get into this chest!" Korkyt, using the plan he had devised beforehand, replies, "I would enter, but how can I fit into the chest in my current state? First, you get in and show me, then I will do as you say!" At that moment, when Janalghy tries to get into the chest, Korkyt slams it shut and secures it so that it cannot be opened, then sends it floating down the river.
Janalghy, trapped in the chest, floats away. Thus, the people live for a long time without knowing death, enjoying their lives in happiness.
At that time, at the river's edge, there was a wonderful fisherman whose net never came back empty. One day, the chest that Janalghy was trapped in falls into the fisherman’s net. When the fisherman opens the chest, Janalghy bursts out, roaring in anger. In his rage, he takes the soul of the fisherman who appeared before him. After that, he sets off in search of Korkyt to take his soul out of vengeance.
Meanwhile, Korkyt, remembering that Janalghy is on his heels, sighs and plays his feelings on his kobyz, thinking, "The lurking enemy will not let go!"
