Balqaimak
Kurmangazy, returning from the banks of the Zhem, stops at a humble house. The house stands alone in the vast steppe. Next to the house, a healthy mare is whinnying. When Kurmangazy enters the house, a young girl greets him with respect. The musician tells her that he is a traveler coming from afar and is very thirsty. The girl quickly lifts the stove wood, pours hot water into a black kettle, and starts a fire. While the tea is boiling, she calls the mare grazing in the field and milks her. The tea made with the mare's milk is very pleasing to Kurmangazy. The thirsty traveler manages to drink a whole kettle by himself. Once he has calmed down, Kurmangazy takes his dombra in hand. The girl, noticing that her guest has begun to relax, moves to the shadow side of the wall as if to let him breathe in some fresh air. Kurmangazy plays a tune. When he finishes, he looks at the girl and says, "The tea you gave me is not just tea; it has become as sweet as honey. I dedicate this tune to you. For the sweet tea you offered, I named the song 'Balqaimak'."
