Genghis lineage (Version I)
In the early 12th century, there was a khan of the Kalmyks named Ayusha. After the death of the khan known as Tatar-Mongol, his wife was a very beautiful woman. One day, she found herself alone, as if nothing remained beside her. Gradually, she became pregnant and named her child Genghis. According to another account, she gave birth while calling out the name Genghis. It is said that both his palms and soles were as black as blood. Then, when they consulted the shamans to predict his fate, the shamans said, "He will walk on two legs and cover the earth with blood. With his two hands, he will shed much blood." After that, when Genghis grew up, he became a khan. One day, he said to his two brothers, "Let us unite and conquer the neighboring khans." His two brothers were also khans in different regions. Thus, the three of them joined forces and began to take over the lands of the neighboring khans. Genghis followed behind, leaving his name wherever he went. Eventually, Genghis killed both of his brothers. Then, it is said that he conquered lands all the way to Kazan, and from the southwestern side to Khiva, Bukhara, and up to Astrakhan, and then along the Volga, he took Crimea.
