Kazybek's decree about a hero (Version I)
Once upon a time, there was a feast held by a wealthy man where the entire Great Horde gathered. Under the leadership of Tole Bi from the Uysyn tribe residing in the Kazykurt mountains, many distinguished guests from the Argyns of Arkada, who had been invited two months prior, arrived with great pomp and circumstance. The festivities included horse racing, wrestling, shooting at targets, and enjoying the feast, but just as the event was about to conclude, a fierce brawl broke out outside the white yurts. The story goes like this: a prominent nobleman from the Uysyn tribes of Sykym and Janis, captivated by the shiny silver saddle of an Argyn youth who had come to the feast, boldly knocked him off his horse and seized it in front of everyone. "I have brought misfortune, I have ignited the fire," he claimed, but the influential people of the community did not listen and did not grant equality. The disputing parties from the two clans eventually turned to Tole Bi for arbitration. When the Bi inquired about the conflict, the nobleman from Sykym-Janis said: – "Last year, this saddle was stolen from my swift horse. Here, I have caught the thief with clear evidence," he insisted. – "No, Bi, do not believe him. This is my own saddle. He is making false accusations out of envy," protested the Argyn youth. After listening to both sides, Tole Bi declared to the nobleman: – "You can take your saddle back, as it belongs to you, but the horse is not yours." At that moment, the Argyn youth, unexpectedly branded as a thief and on the verge of losing his saddle, was met with discontent from the crowd. A young boy named Qazybek stepped forward and said: – "Let me see it too," as he took the saddle into his hands. Then, seventeen-year-old Qazybek immediately recognized the saddle and exclaimed: – "Your sides are like birch, your eyebrows are like willow, You are the saddle that Kalambet has joined. Sykym and Janis are two clans, How can you ride on one saddle? Tole Bi, the ruler of the Great Horde, What will you do about this? You are Uysyn Tole, Where will you hide your justice? If you do not falsely accuse, How will you face the Argyns? You will go as a crooked Bi, If he does not give it back, you are a biased judge. With this wicked intent, In the end, you will perish! Your sides are like birch, your eyebrows are willow, This is indeed the saddle of its owner, You must return it to him!" – boldly exposing the Bi's corruption and deceit. Tole Bi was so taken aback that beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, and he returned the saddle to the Argyn youth.
