Tamerlane (Version II)
The judge Taragay, who comes from the Turkic lineage of the Barlas tribe, has a dream where he finds himself standing on top of a high mountain. The night is pitch dark. In Taragay's hand is a steel sword. At that moment, lightning flashes from the sword, illuminating the entire world. Taragay wakes up. However, that night, a figure dressed in white, with a white turban and riding a white horse, appears to him in a vision: "Taragay, your wife Takkyne will soon give birth to a son. He will be a warrior who rules the world," he says. This figure is the saint Khizr (peace be upon him). The next day, this prophecy reaches Khan Kazaghan. He becomes fearful of the future warrior Amir's birth and orders his servants to rub a heavy stone on the belly of the woman who is in labor in the absence of the judge, so that the child inside dies. However, the child does not die from this, and when the time comes, he is born. But due to the weight of the stone, one of the mother's legs becomes withered.
