127. Сартай батыр Әкесі Байжан биден бата алып, ізіне мың баладан құралған топты ертіп Ордабасыға жеткен он бес жасар Сартайдың көзге түскен жері осы еді. Халықтың басына қара күн туып, жан алқымға таялғанда, үш жүздің ұлдары Ордабасына жиналған. Жау іргесінде тұрғанның өзінде бас қосқан қазақ қолының әскербасшысын сайлау жөніндеп айтыс-тартыс екі аптаға созылады. Abulkhair explained the meaning of the dark cloud looming over the people in front of the large army and encouraged them to fight for freedom: – My dear Kazakhs, Today your heads are in a trap, Your sons and daughters are in danger! The enemy surrounds you, Struggling to stand! If you do not yield to this, Blood will flow in streams. Today, the brave will charge the enemy, Life is at stake! In the battle against the wicked, Face death and fight! Lions, charge forward And fight for your land! As they approached the enemy, the enemy fired cannonballs, causing some losses to the Kazakh forces. At that moment, a group broke away from the Kazakh army and split the ranks of the Dzungars. Seeing that this group was made up of Kazakh boys led by Sartay, the Kazakh warriors rallied and rushed into battle. The bravery of the young boys inspired the Kazakh forces, and they crushed the Dzungars. There is no doubt that young Sartay also participated in the Battle of Aңyraқai. Before the campaign, his father Bayzhan bi said: – This campaign will be difficult and will last for several years. The boys you take with you will grow up during this campaign and will later become true heroes who will protect their homeland. The children who were with Sartay on this journey, named Zhilkaidar, Zhilkaman, Shukirali, and Syrgak, would later become great heroes who defended their land.
