Once upon a time, there was a poor man who had only one horse, a blue one. It was a swift runner that could not be beaten in races. However, it had one peculiarity – it could not run at all unless it sweated, but if it sweated well, it would not lose in any race. Speaking of the horse's secret, a grand feast was held in that land, and many steeds came from all directions for the event. The feast included horse racing, shooting at targets, and wrestling competitions, with prizes awarded to the winners. The poor man also came to this feast. To enter his blue stallion into the race, the owner, before the race began, loaded two bags of sand onto its saddle and was jogging back and forth to make it sweat. A local dombra player saw him and, pleased with the horse's beauty and gait, played a tune saying, "Come on, animal, trot, blue." From then on, this tune became known among the people as "Tepengkok."
