Maydajal – Telqonyr
Once upon a time, there was a wealthy horse owner in the Altai region. One night, two of his mares gave birth, and one of them was eaten by a wolf, while the foal managed to survive by hiding in the thicket. The other mare was nursing her foal. So, this orphaned foal was attached to the surviving mare, and both foals were raised by one mare. Horse experts said that both foals would become good horses. One of the foals was named "Telqonyr," and the other "Maidazhal." When the wealthy man moved, he would have his two sons ride the two foals and would play music to accompany their gait. The melodies "Maidazhal" and "Telqonyr" have remained from that time.
