Telqonyr (Version III)
Bezheng participates in the dispute resolution of the Naiman-Kerei at a place called "Keshim Kyzyl Uyeńki" in the Lower Altai. Before the gathering disperses, news arrives that "your wife has fallen seriously ill." It must have been late in the day. A capable man rides a horse named Telqonyr swiftly and reaches his home at Shybar Tal by the Buyrshin River late at night. After his wife's health improves, he returns to the gathering. The swift journey of Telqonyr on this trip impresses Bezheng, inspiring him to create the "Telqonyr" tune.
Another legend states that Bezheng began his first horseback riding journey in the horse herds. He always had good horses born from a brown mare belonging to him. In one of the years when the brown mare foaled, she gave birth to a brown colt. Although another mare also gave birth to a brown colt, that colt died. Thus, the brown colt born from Bezheng's brown mare nursed from both its own mother and the mare whose colt had died. The following year, his own mother remained barren, and the brown colt was nurtured from foal to yearling. Bezheng raised this brown yearling from a young age, trained it, and once it became gentle, he took it for his own riding. This brown horse would win races, catch up when chased, and was a uniquely beautiful horse with an exceptional physique. Grateful for his remarkable Telqonyr, Bezheng dedicates the "Telqonyr" tune to it.
