Kazizhan
Another heavy event awaits Kurmangazy. His only son Qazi is seriously ill. This situation deeply affects the musician's soul. He ignores the lack of food in his home and the difficulties of his life due to his child's distress. However, with Kurmangazy's wishes, Qazi spends a long time in bed, and eventually, he begins to recover. The severely emaciated boy now needs good food to recover quickly. Moreover, people from the village, who have missed their musician for a long time, keep coming. Kurmangazy cannot provide food or hospitality for his son or the guests who come and go. Because the wealth that Alqa and Baigazy had accumulated was taken away by the owner of the two horses that Kurmangazy had ridden while chasing the old Aues. Thus, the musician's family only survives on the days of the living dead. Above all else, it pains Kurmangazy that he cannot satisfy his guests and friends. Having reached a certain age and seen the ups and downs of life, experiencing so many hardships, this particular situation deeply stirs the musician's soul. After the guests leave, he gently approaches Qazi and murmurs:
– If you ask, my name is Kurmangazy,
The hound won't save you if the rabbit runs away.
When your friend comes to your house, he leaves empty-handed,
What can I do, poverty is the food of the cattle.
I marked my path from the hoof of the bay,
I did not bow to the rich, the chief, or the khan.
When I was emaciated from jaundice,
I could not find food for my dear Qazi.
When I want to say my poem,
I know one day I will go to my end.
That too might be a happiness given to me,
Let me go and spread my art to the people.
Kurke, who shot at the flying bird,
It does not suit a young man to stay at home.
In my yesterday's turbulent times,
I was a wild boar that made the rich cry, – and he sings along with his dombra. He plays a tune. This tune becomes known among the people as "Qazijan."
