The state of Iqylas is also based on events from the past. Once upon a time, there was a khan named Akshakhan. It was a time filled with many enemies around, and it must have been an era of frequent raids and battles. One day, the fate of the people was at stake, and a great raid, where the heads of heroes were at stake, occurred. After defeating the enemy and returning with his banner flying, Akshakhan gathered the brave warriors who stood out and held a celebration, offering gifts and honors. During this gathering, the khan, who showed special favor to Ayrayuq, declared in front of everyone: "Ayrayuq, you are the pride of the people; I will not scold you until I close my eyes," they say. At that time, Akshakhan had a single daughter who had grown up beautifully. Ayrayuq fell in love with this girl. Isn't it said that "the girl favors the boy praised by the people"? It seems the girl liked Ayrayuq as well. Thus, after Ayrayuq and the khan's daughter became fond of each other, he approached Akshakhan with a proposal. Akshakhan replied: "If my only daughter's beloved is a hero like Ayrayuq, and if Ayrayuq desires my daughter, let it be the wish of the two young people!" and he held a grand celebration. Then, he arranged a suitable dowry for his daughter, loading it onto forty camels, and Akshakhan married off his only daughter. Afterward, Ayrayuq took the khan's daughter, accompanied by his retinue, and they were returning to his homeland like a migrating people, filled with joy. At that moment, the enemy, who had been waiting for an opportunity, suddenly attacked Ayrayuq's caravan one day. There was no time to devise a plan or gather thoughts; a fierce battle broke out. The enemy, who struck unexpectedly, did not spare Ayrayuq's companions, quickly cutting them down. Ayrayuq fought alone, refusing to give the enemy an advantage. While he was fighting, the string of his bow broke, and with no other weapon left, Ayrayuq found himself standing on top of a hill. The enemy, pleased to have captured the beautiful daughter of Akshakhan along with a rich dowry, intended to divert the caravan. At that moment, the daughter of Akshakhan asked for a favor: "He was my husband, and this must be the order; at least allow us to speak and say goodbye," she said. The enemy, feeling triumphant, accepted the request and led her towards Ayrayuq. Then, as Akshakhan's daughter approached Ayrayuq, she said: "Oh, Ayrayuq, why are you so distraught? I had tied raisins to your saddle to sustain you in times of hardship," she said. It turns out that the wise girl, who could foresee the future, had tied the string of the bow she made from camel sinew to her husband's saddle. When she mentioned "raisins to sustain you in times of hardship," she was referring to that string. Ayrayuq understood this hint, reattached the string to his bow, and charged at the enemy, shouting "single combat, single combat!" With his weapon in hand, Ayrayuq did not relent, shooting accurately and decimating the enemy, ultimately driving them away. Thus, he reunited with his beloved and returned safely to his homeland, achieving his goal, they say.
