There was a ruler named Yasawi. He lived in Samarkand during the winter and spent the summer in the mountains of Turkestan. Like all Turkic rulers, this padishah would put aside his meals at the sight of game and spent the summer hunting in the Turkestan mountains. One day, during the summer, he intended to hunt in the Karashik mountain, but the mountain's terrain hindered him and dissuaded him from this idea. Thus, he could not hunt any game in Karashik. For this reason, he decided to flatten the mountain. He gathered all the saints from the lands he ruled and asked them to pray for the removal of this mountain through the blessing of their prayers. The saints of Turkestan accepted the ruler's request. Dressed in ihram, they prayed and pleaded for three days to eliminate this mountain. However, their supplications and pleas did not yield the expected results. They sought the reason. They inquired, "Is there anyone knowledgeable among the saints in this region?" It was reported that Sheikh Ibrahim's son, Khoja Akhmet, had not participated in the miracle due to his young age. Immediately, he sent a person to Sairam to summon him. The boy consulted with his sister. His sister said, "Our father's will is there. The sign that your time to step forward has come is the tablecloth tied at our father's tomb. If you have the power to untie it, go and test your fortune! Then it will be revealed." The boy then went to the tomb and untied the tablecloth. Thus, he realized that his time to step forward had come. He immediately took the tablecloth and went to the city of Yasi. All the saints were ready there. He blessed a piece of bread from the tablecloth. Accepting this, they recited Fatiha. Then, he distributed the bread among those gathered. It was enough for everyone. Ninety-nine thousand people, including saints and the ruler's commanders and soldiers, stood ready. When they witnessed this miracle, they bowed to the greatness of Khoja Akhmet Yasawi. Khoja Akhmet wore his father's beshpent and waited for his father's blessing. At that moment, suddenly, a flood poured down from the sky, and all the earth was submerged under water. The prayer rugs of the Sheikhs floated on the waves. For this reason, everyone began to shout and plead. Khoja Akhmet emerged from the beshpent. Suddenly, the storm ceased, and the sun shone brightly. When he looked towards the mountain, he saw that the Karashik mountain had completely disappeared. Now, in its place, there is a small town called Karashik. This place is the homeland and residence of Khoja's descendants. Witnessing this miracle, the ruler asked Khoja for help so that the name and title of Yasawi would remain forever in the world until the Day of Judgment. Khoja accepted this request and said, "Whoever loves us in this world, let them remember you along with your name!" Thus, from that day on, he has been remembered as "Khoja Akhmet Yasawi."
