Once, three saints: Qabylysa, Eskeledi, and Balpyq were walking in the steppe. On the way, while Balpyq was dismounting his horse to perform ablution, the reins slipped from his hand. After finishing his necessity, when he rushed to his horse, it started to gallop after Qabylysa and Eskeledi, who were moving ahead without stopping. Despite several attempts, Balpyq could not catch his horse. Finally, he said: – Hey, Eske, could you show your power just once? I'm about to lose my patience! – At that moment, the reins had wrapped around the base of a tamarisk tree. Balpyq jumped on his horse and caught up with them. However, he remained silent. They went a little further over a few hills. Eskeledi slightly turned his neck and said: – Hey, Balpyq, aren't you grateful that you haven't been left behind? Could you return my golden hook? – It turned out that the end of the reins wrapped around the tamarisk belonged to Eskeledi's golden hook. Balpyq returned it.
